Senior People Operations Specialist Description

DESCRIPTION

Currently we are looking for a Senior People Operations Specialist for our Serbian office.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Coordination, support and actual delivery of the HR People Operations work
  • Hiring, relocation and termination related administration
  • Creating labor contracts and modifications
  • Preparing reports, analysis and statistics about headcount and compensation
  • Producing specific HR reports as requested
  • Provide complex assistance and advise on immigration and visa procedures
  • Controlling and proofing of payroll activities
  • Creating procedures and practices that improve HR administration and people operations transactions
  • Responsible for updating existing and creating new local HR policies and processes
  • Keep contact and coordinate with the payroll outsourcing company, with the Finance Department, and with the company’s legal advisor
  • Handling of personal folders, labor data maintenance in the corporate systems
  • Maintenance and corrections in the company’s timesheet registering system
  • Cross-check of holidays, managing sick-leave payments
  • General labor administration, preparing documents for and managing the monthly payroll
  • Support and active participation in creating internal employment related regulations
  • Other ad-hoc tasks regarding the employee life-cycle transactions

WHAT YOU HAVE

  • At least 5-8 years relevant general practice in the field of HR Operations / Administration
  • Understanding and correct use of administrative and other Human Resource responsibilities in everyday work
  • At least intermediate usage of computer user skills and advanced user knowledge of the MS Office software’s
  • Personality:
    • Fluent English and Serbian knowledge. Russian language knowledge is an advantage
    • Ability to work in team and individually also. Strong interpersonal skills
    • Skills to communicate clearly and concisely
    • Expert specialist knowledge and understanding of most HR business domain area, and confirmed abilities to quickly learn, systematize, retain, and re-apply business knowledge
    • Knowledge of HR best practices and Serbian employment law
  • Expected qualifications, degrees:
    • Specialized B.sc. or M.sc and equivalent experience
