QA Engineer
QA Engineer
– Review and analyze project specifications (users stories and/use cases/requirements) for validity and feasibility
– Collaborate with Project Managers and Development teams to create effective strategies and test plans
– Execute manual test cases for all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression), and analyze results
– Create logs to document testing phases and defects
– Report bugs and errors to Development teams
– Help troubleshoot issues
– Provide support and documentation
– Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
– Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
– Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or a similar role
– Experience in QA methodology
– Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
– Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
– Familiarity with Agile frameworks
– Being a critical thinker and having problem-solving skills
– Having good time-management skills
– Paying attention to details
– Having an analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
– Possessing strong organizational skills
– Being a team player
– Characterized by great interpersonal and communication skills
– Familiarity with regression testing is a plus
– Experience in developing automation scripts
– Experience in applying eCommerce solutions
– Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest, Zephyr)
– BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
