SAP is currently seeking a Product Specialist to strengthen our team of talented, supportive and motivated Product Managers. You will support the SAP Commissions solution, a strategic solution within the Human Experience Management line of business. The successful candidate will be responsible for the success, quality, and delivery of a product, in the whole product lifecycle. In addition, this role contributes to the efficiency, effectiveness and improvement of processes used in delivering the SAP Commissions solution.
We are seeking a Product Specialist with sales performance management solution (SPM) knowledge and Incentive Management experience who will approach this role with a customer first view in every aspect of the job.

The Role

• Translate business requirements to technical requirements and innovative solution concepts that support our SPM strategy.
• Work as part of an agile scrum team, focusing on planning, execution and review of sprints and releases.
• Manage development execution against a backlog which prioritizes customer requirements, feedback, defects, and new innovations – taking into consideration strategic goals for the product and business.
• Collaborate with other product managers and teams across the entire Sales Performance Management team to increase synergies across the different solutions and scenarios.
• Collaborate with technical writers to ensure accurate, timely, and comprehensive product documentation.
• Conduct technical training on new product capabilities for internal stakeholders as well as customers and partners.

Role Requirements

• University degree in engineering or science
• Working experience: 8+ years in development, quality assurance, product management, or another customer-facing technical role, preferably supporting Cloud Software solutions
• Familiarity with lean and agile concepts
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Customer management and escalation skills
• Ability to lead through influence
• Ability to communicate technically and in business terms
• Comfortable presenting in front of customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
• Business acumen in sales operations, sales compensation, incentive strategies or other related processes is a plus
• Fluent written and spoken English skills
• Resilient in a changing environment
• Able to prioritize and manage across multiple deliverables and stakeholder groups
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Willingness to be available during morning hours PST time zone when necessary
