goUrban is on a mission to empower people to move through the world more efficiently. Our SaaS platform is an operating system for shared mobility empowering fleet operators to run their service with cars, mopeds, bikes, or kick scooters anywhere in the world with unique and advanced features that makes us the leading software provider for mobility operators.

We’re looking for a Mid/Senior Scala Developer (m/f/d) to contribute to our vehicle connectivity and management services. You will work in a team connecting all kind of vehicles (cars, mopeds, bikes or scooters) with IoTs and establishing a communication to our Vehicle Cloud. Among your responsibilities: transforming IoT protocols into application code, designing and implementing APIs and making sure that the state managed by our services match the reality. You’ll also be looking after our services to make sure that they are complying with our quality standards.

Our current tech stack is focused on:

• Scala / Akka
• Cassandra
• Kafka
• Kubernetes

• Ability to understand and evolve distributed systems
• Experience with distributed systems or microservice architectures
• Supporting junior colleagues in the team
