Eon+ is seeking a new backend software developer / engineer that will help us realize our vision with an upcoming breakthrough generation of Envigo.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Python backend development – preferably for SaaS B2B solutions
• Academic degree in software engineering / computer science is highly desirable
• Fluent communication in both English and Serbian
• Strong work ethics, motivation and independence

Good to have / expected to achieve

• Proficiency in Python and frameworks – primarily FastAPI
• Ample experience with REST and Websocket APIs
• Strong knowledge of SQL and databases – preferably PostgreSQL 
• Working with CI/CD and integration tests 
• Understanding AWS stack, Docker and Docker Compose
• Knowledge of JavaScript (particularly Vue.js) and TypeScript is a plus  

Responsibilities

• Delivering high quality and maintainable code 
• Designing API layers, end-points and integrating web services   
• Regular meetings with the team to discuss specifications 
• Proactive thinking and problem solving
• Following and improving team coding standards and processes
• Troubleshooting and debugging system and services
• Writing tests, monitoring and improving back-end performance
• Documenting features and updates on regular basis in English (in Gitlab)
