Summary of key responsibilities/deliverables
You will be key to delivering the next stage of the Hyperoptic fibre network across the UK. Engaging with sites directly and with property stakeholders you will identify new business development opportunities so that Hyperoptic can be delivered to more homes.
What will you be doing?
Lead Generation & Research:
- Researching and targeting prospects using a variety of sales tools
- Cold call in order to obtain key information from targeted prospects
- Follow up and qualify all leads to identify additional prospects or opportunities to leverage broader relationships
- Explore companies and wider markets to gain a greater understanding of the industries you are selling in to
Sales:
- Identifying target sites and engaging directly with Property Stakeholders and Owners, Building Managers as well as residents of multi dwelling properties.
- Proactively building and managing a sales pipeline.
- Consistently hitting sales targets set per quarter.
- Build and manage a network of relationships to ease new business development.
- Identify and leverage internal relationships.
- Communicating with all levels from Caretakers, Concierges, Property Manager to C-Level Managers.
Reporting:
- Providing regular reporting on progress to management as required.
- Responsible for managing workflow and projects through our CRM.
- Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.
Internal Facilitator:
- Establish and build good working relationships within internal stakeholders to aid successful deployment of sites.
- Coordinating functions to ensure single client facing interface (where necessary and desirable).
What are we looking for?
- Extensive business development experience
- Strong written and numerical skills
- Ability to listen and sell on a consultative basis
- Tenacious and determined to deliver results, with the ability to self-motivate
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- An ability to work to tight deadlines with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Telecommunications experience would be desirable
