DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Bioinformatics Data Analyst to join our team in Serbia

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in biological data analysis and interpretation such as sequence alignment, data quality control, gene expression analysis, variant calling, phylogenetics
  • Must have a proven track record using computational methods in at least one next generation sequencing modality
  • Familiarity with Molecular Biology data and techniques associated with:
    • NGS data, processing and analysis
    • GWAS
    • Genome assembly
    • Genome annotation
    • SNPs and Haplotypes
  • Familiarity with cheminformatics libraries, RDKit for instance
  • Experience with visualization libraries and dashboarding:
    • Dash / Plotly
    • R Shiny / ggplot2
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle)
  • Solid working experience with Python and/or R:
    • Data vectorization
    • Data Frames (Pandas, Dask, Tadyverse packages)
    • Unit Tests (PyTest, Testthat)
  • Experience working with version control tools such as git (e.g. GitHub, BitBucket)
  • Confident Linux user, bash scripting
