Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team and take on the crucial role of maintaining and advancing three websites within the fitness industry. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and evolution of our online presence.

Responsibilities:

As a WordPress Developer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation, enhancement, and innovation of our three websites. Specifically, you will:

• Manage and maintain WordPress sites, ensuring their performance, security, and functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement website features and improvements.
• Develop custom WordPress themes to address unique needs and enhance user experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality, design, and user experience.
• Perform regular updates, backups, and optimizations to ensure the websites remain up-to-date and efficient.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to recommend and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with designers to bring visual and UX/UI concepts to life on the websites.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a WordPress Developer.
• Proficiency in WordPress development, including the ability of creating custom themes, and templates.
• Strong understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Experience working with responsive and mobile-first design principles.
• Familiarity with website optimization, performance tuning, and SEO best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in creating custom plugins.
• Experience with Marketo or other e-commerce platforms.
• Familiarity with website accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
