Role Overview:
As a Requirements Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless exchange of information between our client and our team of developers. Your primary responsibility will be to comprehend complex user stories in German, engage in insightful discussions with the Product Owners, and effectively convey the requirements to our developers. You will serve as a communication bridge, ensuring that misunderstandings are resolved, and expectations are aligned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of domain-specific user stories (accounting and bookkeeping).
- Engage in comprehensive discussions with Product Owners in German to clarify and break down user story requirements.
- Act as a communication facilitator, ensuring clear and concise communication between client’s Product Owners and our development team.
- Participate actively in Sprint Planning and Product Backlog refinement meetings.
- Leverage your knowledge of software development to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Continuously enhance your understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles to effectively communicate domain-specific requirements.
Requirements:
- High proficiency in both German and English languages, including excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong domain knowledge in accounting and bookkeeping; familiarity with German accounting and taxation is advantageous.
- Proven ability to comprehend and break down complex user stories.
- Basic understanding of software development concepts.
- Self-motivated with a getting-things-done mindset and a proactive approach to learning and continuous improvement.
- Able to manage workload effectively and adapt to changing priorities.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and cultures.
