Who are we?

LotusFlare’s mission is to make the mobile internet more accessible. Mobile data connectivity drives economic growth and brings vast social benefits to the world, but two-thirds of the world’s population is unable to access this valuable resource. Our mission is to make mobile internet both affordable and available.

We are founded by early Product and Growth team executives from Facebook, and backed by world-leading VCs including Google Ventures, Social Capital, SV Angels, Macquarie Capital, and Compound.

We partner with some of the greatest institutions in the world including LinkedIn, Supercell, Twitter, Microsoft, Verizon Wireless, Singtel, and T-Mobile.

We are looking for a passionate and proactive Program Manager who will help our Server Team bring to life exceptional server stack!

Does this apply to you?

• Experience in managing software projects or similar relevant experience, preferably SaaS or PaaS projects
• Worked as a hands-on a software engineer on server (back end), before evolving into lead or managerial positions
• You are eager to drive large scale initiatives (such as scaling) by planning for timeline, resources and dependencies and ensure these projects are delivered on time with high quality
• Strong communication and organizational skills, able to coordinate activities between Server engineering and other departments
• You have a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
• You enjoy resolving challenges or obstacles that might impede the delivery of the project
• You make sure to have a clear overview of what’s going on on the project at any given moment
• You know how to manage and keep documentation organized and up to date, so everyone can quickly find what they’re looking for
• Proactive approach comes naturally to you
• You have proven experience in handling multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining a can-do attitude
• You are a team player and you know how to make the team feel motivated and supported

And maybe even this?

• You have experience in the TelCo industry
• You have experience with SOA and micro services
• You have experience with serverless systems
• You have experience with hosting cloud native server stack on AWS
• You have hands on experience with Agile/Scrum
• You have experience using some of the data analytics tools
