Our SAAS system is hosted on AWS and built using LAMP technology stack. Our system improves school information entry and analysis and communication, fostering a data-driven school culture while increasing transparency with parents and pupils. On top of that, we use data collected during the school day to make predictions and suggest interventions with the aim of improving education outcomes in schools.

Arbor’s management information system is the heart of a school’s application ecosystem which means that we need to provide seamless integration with a variety of third party systems while helping our clients and partners use and implement solutions on top of our MIS.

Our Partner Integrations team in Belgrade is growing and we are looking for a Support Engineer to help us provide outstanding support, guidance and best practices to our customers and partners. As a member of our Partner Integrations team you will:

  • Triage API support requests arriving from different channels (e.g. email, Slack) and provide in-depth and timely developer support on as-needed basis
  • Collaborate with API team lead to assist and advise third-party developers with their integration with Arbor MIS API
  • Help the technical partnership team in planning and executing Arbor integration strategy
  • Sync with our platform team to make sure developer feedback is incorporated into our platform roadmap
  • Own and maintain Arbor developer portal
  • Create and maintain knowledge base documentation and code samples

REQUIREMENTS
To do your magic you will need:

  • Fluency in English
  • Formal education in Computer Science or similar discipline
  • Clear and articulate verbal & non-verbal communication skills
  • Experience with PHP and knowledge of HTTP stack
  • Knowledge of various industry standards (REST, SOAP, OAuth etc)
  • Strong analytical and problem decomposition skills
  • To be able to provide code examples for user stories
  • Experience with agile project management software, preferably JIRA
  • Excellent relationship and time management skills
