HR Manager

Our mission is simple: we make games and we want them to be awesome.

To do that, we’re always in need of motivated, smart and talented individuals who will share our strive for progress.→ https://www.madheadgames.com/

We need a very special kind of person:

A Talent & People Manager: at Mad Head, our people come first. Help us level up by providing the tools to become even better at what we do: making awesome games. We love learning new things together, growing individually, and as a team.

A Trailblazer: there is no set path in this business – you’ll have to tread your own. Explore the unknown and light a beacon for others. Together, we’ll pave the way for our team, and keep raising the bar when it comes to creating an awesome workplace.

A Multitasker & Problem Solver: you can juggle between projects, teams and personal career development, all with one goal in mind: creating the best damn place to work, collaborate and create!

A Good listener & Communicator: Gandhi said that no two leaves are alike. Well, the same goes for game developers. We need a good listener who has the sensibility and open-mindedness for our needs, and a good communicator who will present clear ideas.

A Ninja: flexibility as a way of life! Game development is a very dynamic industry. We know: they say that for almost every industry, but gamedev is practically built on the concept of change. We need you to embrace this, and be able to adapt constantly.

A Team Player: we’ll go through ups and downs together, and won’t stop until we see the Victory screen. You’ll work closely with management and development teams to ensure good communication and an uninterrupted flow of ideas.

Anything else? Well, we prefer candidates who:

  • Have minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in HR, Business, or Organization Development
  • Have 1-2 years of experience in the IT industry
  • Have knowledge and experience in employment law, recruitment, organization development, employee relations, employee engagement, and employee development.
  • Have better than average written and spoken communication skills.
  • Have outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills.
  • Have fluency in English language, both oral and written
  • Have good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
  • Are well-organized and team oriented
  • Are gamers – you don’t have to be a gamer to apply, but it certainly helps!

P.S. Ever worked with game developers before? Be prepared to be overwhelmed – we’re passionate, we’re creative, we’re geeky, we’re fun – and a little crazy. But give us time, we’ll grow on you!
