No. A general rule is that the less blockchain-native your idea feels to the user, the better you'll do. You only need to show that your agent can process transactions on a testnet so the judges can verify it could work — we'll send you a simple tutorial.
Yes. You can come solo or with a team of up to 4. Solo participants can find teammates during the registration period at the start of each hackathon.
No. Rounds 1–4 are standalone events. The top 3 from each round qualify for the finale at AI Week. You can enter as many rounds as you want — more rounds means more chances to qualify.
Everything you build is 100% yours. No licensing, no strings, no exceptions.
Four criteria: is the agent autonomous enough, is the product impossible without AI, would you give this agent your money, and does the on-chain payment actually work (pass/fail). 5-minute pitch followed by 5-minute Q&A with the judges.
Winners get membership in Startit's AI community — which comes with a physical desk in Startit's Belgrade or Novi Sad AI Hub buildings. 1st place gets 3 months, 2nd gets 2, 3rd gets 1.
The finale is invite-only — top 3 from each round qualify automatically. A small number of wild card spots may be available. If you're interested, apply through the form and we'll let you know.
Anything. Any AI model, any framework, any language. The only requirement is that the payment integration runs on Solana and USDC.
Yes. With today's AI tools, 5 hours is more than enough for a strong idea + working proof of concept — which is what we're judging. Think ahead: come in knowing what you want to build so you don't burn time on ideation. You can't bring any pre-made assets, prompts, or code — everything must be built on the day. But if you have a clear idea in your head, you can tell your agent what to build and get surprisingly far. We'll also provide a slide template so you don't waste time on presentation design.
The finale is at Startit's Belgrade AI Hub on May 29. Runs from 2 PM to ~9 PM.
No theme. No constraints. Build any AI agent that makes money autonomously. $2,500 prize pool. This is the one.
